In Student Council, we bring up issues that our schoolmates have brought up. We have  a few representatives from each classroom  We run things like the Talent Show, the Holiday Cards to Nursing Homes, Spirit Week, the End-of-the-Year Picnic, and much more.	This is Mr. Chrisco, who supervises the meetings along with Karen. He's the sixth grade teacher at our school.
This is Karen, who also supervises the meeting. She's teaches one of the 4/5 grades at our school.	On Wednesday, March 24, Student Coucnil planned a Mix It Up Day. That's a day for older kids to mingle with littler kids. Everybody with a last name starting with any letter from A-M eats at the first lunch, and people's who's last name starts with letters N-Z eat at second lunch.  Every student receives a different kind of sticker, and every sticker represents a different table. he table that the children with that sticker sit at. Student Council plans the dates, hands out the stickers, helps guide people to the right table, and makes sure people are getting to know each other.
Many student at Oak Grove are finding hair in their lunch food. Student Council members are trying to find a solution to this problem. Many people are suggesting hair nets, but some people are pointing out that the students may be finding their own fallen hair.	In Student Council, we have jobs. Not everyone gets one every week, but we do get a fair amount of them. Every week, a student leads the meeting as the Facilitator. They call on people and lead the course of the meeting.
Every holiday we make cards for the elderly at nursing homes. On Valentines Day, we made so many cards that we could make cards for two nursing homes and the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital.	In the last Student Council meeting, we started planning out the annual Talent Show!!!!!!!! We've all decided how we want to help, like if we want to be Master of Ceremonies, Sound Manager, Floor Manager, Director and so on. Now we're waiting for Mr. Chrisco and Karen to decide our jobs. We're hoping people will decide to take part this year, last year we didn't have enough acts, so we couldn't have the evening show.
Another job in Student Council is being Notes on Board. We have a t-chart noting what new issues have come up and what old issues we need to work on.	Karen and Mr. Chrisco are great helps when you need them!!!!!!
In Student Council, we split into committees like the End of the Year Picnic, Feed the Thousands, and ones like that. At meeting, we ask for committee reports so that the whole Student Council
